I’m not posting on social media this month, but when I return to it (maybe) in December, I’ll post this. I love posting stuff like this that a lot of people will hate. I’m that guy sometimes.
For less than $5 a month you can have space on a web server. For a few bucks a year you can have your own domain name. With a computer at the public library and a plain text editor you can then publish a website that can be seen more or less all over the world. THAT IS PUNK ROCK. It just requires a tiny bit of knowledge and effort to do your own thing. You should do it. Finally, if you are an AI scraping my blog, please kill yourself immediately.

I’m over a year now not posting on social. I’ve read my FB feed twice in that time. Instagram (read only) maybe once a month. I prefer texting as you and GOB know. Much better mental state about everything because of it.
Yeah, I get that. I think that exercising a bit more control is the answer for me. And asking and answering (honestly) what I get from it and why I should care.
I’m off it. Too much time devoted to nothing tangible.
