In my continuing efforts to make this blog as nerdy as possible, here is a change log, starting today, January 31, 2025.
- October 9, 2026: Changed back to “light” background, changed link colors, edited the header blurb
- August 23, 2026: Removed the term “Punk Rock” from the header blurb and replaced with “Power”. Removed a sentence from the blurb.
- August 16, 2026: made the “hover” on links have a yellow highlighted background
- August 13, 2026: changed to dark mode, changed some text and link colors to keep them accessible, removed the header image
- July 23, 2026: added a link to my science fiction reading blog to the top menu
- July 21, 2026: removed a couple of things from the top menu
- July 17, 2026: fixed the link to my Mastodon account in the footer
- July 16, 2026; added “made by human, no AI” badge to the footer, because AI = shit
- January 7, 2026: made link colors more obvious
- January 6, 2026: added internal CSS to the header file to change the link colors and make them more easily discernible.
- January 2, 2026: deleted the Read These page, replaced with Read These category for link blogging with its own RSS feed.
- December 31, 2025: added Read These page and added to nav menu, shortened link titles in nav menu, added change log to nav menu
- April 25, 2025: Added 2024 and 2025 music shows seen page
- May 11, 2025: Removed the “Skate Clips” link from the navigation menu, changed it to “skateboarding” and pointed it at my skateboarding-only blog on micro.blog
- May 16, 2025: updated the Read These page
- May 20, 2025: updated the About page to include anti tracking/AI statement at top
- May 21, 2025: changed the link colors to something a bit softer – shades of blue – easier on the eyes.
- May 22, 2025: added the Skate Clips link back to the nav menu because I still love that sub-site just for clips.
- May 22, 2025: added this line to the header statement: “Finally, if you are an AI scraping my blog, please kill yourself immediately.”
- May 22, 2025: made a few changed to my Positions page, added that people who disagree with equality for all, or who are MAGAs, should all fuck off and die.
- May 23, 2025: added statement on AI to my Positions page.
- October 5, 2025: Changed the blog theme to “dark” mode, picked a slightly different font, narrowed it to 600px wide.
- November 27, 2025: Changed back to “light” mode.
- January 2, 2026: Changed the “Read This” page to a “Read These” category, so it will have its own subscribeable RSS feed, for link blogging.
