The You Tube info says “captured on super 8 Kodachrome film”. That is pretty amazing since the film and processing is fairly expensive plus the video quality is great.
Yes, he did a great job. Most of it appears to have been shot with a tripod — a one man show. Most of the moves are actually pretty dependable downhill sliding moves — nothing that requires 100 tries just to make it once, haha.
