The You Tube info says “captured on super 8 Kodachrome film”. That is pretty amazing since the film and processing is fairly expensive plus the video quality is great.
He must have planned it out really well.
Yes, he did a great job. Most of it appears to have been shot with a tripod — a one man show. Most of the moves are actually pretty dependable downhill sliding moves — nothing that requires 100 tries just to make it once, haha.
I have just been mesmerized by this film. It is so totally the opposite of what most skate video is like.
