Everyone these days has a colophon page — a “how do I make this site and what do I use” sorta page. So this is mine. Just to fit in.
- Platform: This site is run on an installation of WordPress, on my shared server account on Dreamhost.com, on which I run other blogs for specific things like my RPG games. I’ve been very happy with dreamhost since about 2005.
- Theme: I use the Marianne theme on WordPress because it is simple, doesn’t look like a real estate portal. It one of about 3 WordPress themes left that don’t stuck.
- Computer: Currently blogging mostly on a MacBook Neo
- Video hosting: I’ve started hosting videos on my $9 a month Vimeo account, rather than shitty fucked-up sold-out bullshit YouTube.
